Artist Emmanuel Inua 

Itu, Akwa Ibom state, 1966 - 2nd December,2011

He is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Art School (1987) and has held several solo and group exhibitions in Nigeria, South Africa and Europe.  Emmanuel has works in major public and private collections in Nigeria including 27 paintings at the National Assembly Abuja, 15 paintings at the Nigerian Communications Commission, Abuja< 5 paintings at the departure hall of the Murutala Mohammed Airport Lagos, 12 paintings at the ECOWAS Court headquarters, Abuja, 40 paintings at Protea Hotels, Calabar.  He died on  the 2nd December,2011. 

“I am committed to fighting against the societal abuse of women and children, especially those in Africa. Recent religious conflicts and violence in Jos,  Nigeria where helpless women and children were  brutally massacred  in their sleep only goes to show how vulnerable  our women and children are during the senseless violence we witness often in our society.”
