Artist Lucia Sarto
Lucia Sarto Italian Impressionist painter.
In 1961 she won First Prize in a painting competition organised in the Region's Middle Schools. She trained as an artist in Venice and Turin, cities in which she would successfully participate in a number of group shows. It was in Turin, a famous centre of Italian artistic and cultural life, that she was recognised Female Painter of the Year, with the most significant of her "Romantic Realism" paintings figuring in a one-woman show at the Palazzo della Regione. She has participated in more that one hundred exhibitions, holding a total of fifty one-woman shows in Italy and abroad.
