Artist Armando Barrios
Caracas, Venezuela, 21 August 1920
He was the son of Serapio Barrios and Carmen Rodriguez de Barrios, both of Spanish origin. Since his teenage days he developed a great love for the arts, so from the age of 12 he was studying at the School of Plastic and Applied Arts in Caracas. His research in the artistic field is initially directed towards the study of impressionist and cubist schools.
