Rebecca has shown a keen interest in arts and crafts from an early age. She initially studied sculpture and three dimensional design in York, and went on to pursue her interest in the human form at Edinburgh in 1995, where she studied fine art. She exhibited works in scotland and is now exhibiting throughout the UK. Rebecca now lives in North Wales where she has been inspired to complete this latest collection of works. Rebeccas painting style has developed over the years, and her confidence on the the canvas can be clearly seen. Having a keen eye for detail, and understanding of human anatomy, her sensitivity to the form is complimented by an idea of place. Her settings range from sways of abstract color to more defined objets, which captivate and carry your attention throughout the work. In reviewing Rebecca's paintings, you become aware that each work stands on it own as a work of beauty, making this collection something very special indeed.
