Artist Loïc Allemand
Agde, France, 1973
Loïc Allemand was born in Agde, on the Mediterranean coast of the Languedoc region of France, and now lives and paints in Paris. He studied at the schools of fine art in both Toulouse and Montpellier, finishing off his studies with a two year fine art course in Barcelona at the age of 24. During his time there, he was commissioned by the Mayor's office and the Massana School of Fine Art to paint a large scale mural in the latter's main hall, measuring six metres by five and depicting a bustling scene of a tapas bar in the city's Raval district.
